5.International
Kayseri Half Marathon and 10.193 M Run will be held in Kayseri on 21 September
2025 in accordance with the provisions of WA Competition and Technical Rules,
TAF Competition Instructions and the provisions specified in the statute.
GENERAL TOPICS:
1. The competitions
will be held in Half Marathon and 10.193m distances with the participation of
male and female athletes.
2. Athletes with a
club or individual licence and those who do not have a licence but have signed
the medical report and the undertaking prepared by the organisation will be
able to participate in the competition. Licensed athletes are obliged to
present their licences when requested.
3. The competitions
are open to the participation of foreign athletes and they are required to present
their passports during registration.
4. Athletes who have
completed 18 years of age in terms of day/month/year can participate in the
Half Marathon and 10.193m competition.
5. Necessary safety
and health measures on the Kayseri Half Marathon and 10.193m Run course and
necessary preparations related to the course will be made by the organisers of
the organisation.
6. The chest numbers
of the athletes will be prepared by the organisation and the athletes
themselves will receive the chips two days before the competition (19-20 September) at the place and time to be determined.
7. According to the
results of the Half Marathon and 10.193 M competitions, general individual
classification and classification according to age groups will be made.
8. The awards of the
athletes who ranked in the competitions will be held in Kayseri republic
square.
9. The age groups to
be applied in the classification of age groups will be as follows.
WOMEN: 30-34,35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70-74 ,75+ and above
MEN:30-34,35 – 39, 40 – 44, 45 – 49, 50 – 54, 55 – 59, 60 – 64, 65 – 69, 70-74 ,75+ and above
TECHNICAL ISSUES:
1. International
Kayseri Half Marathon and 10.193 M competition course will be organised on the
WA AIMS approved course measured by an AIMS certified measurer.
2. Preparations and
precautions regarding water and special food and beverage stations on the
competition course will be taken by the organisation and the participants will
be informed at the technical meeting.
3. The finishing time for
the half marathon competition is set as 3.25 hours. Athletes who cannot
complete the competition within three hours and twenty-five minutes will be
asked to board the vehicles by the officials. The degrees of the
athletes who finish the race after this time (3.25 hours) or continue to run on
the track will not be taken into account and these athletes will not be ranked.
Athletes who ignore the warnings of the officials after this time are fully
responsible for themselves. The organising committee will not be responsible
for any accident or negative situation.
4. No vehicles other than
the vehicles in charge will be allowed to enter the track during the
competition.
5. Athletes will
deliver their clothes to the officials by leaving their chest numbers written
on the bags at the points determined for them before the competition and will
receive them from the previously announced points at the end of the
competition.
6. In road races, the
athlete may leave the track under the permission and supervision of the
official, provided that it does not reduce the distance to be travelled.
7. If the chief referee
is satisfied, on the report of a referee or assistant referee or otherwise,
that an athlete has shortened the distance to be covered by leaving the course,
he shall disqualify that athlete.
FINANCIAL MATTERS AND REWARD :
1. The travel and
subsistence of the athletes invited to the competition will be covered by the
organisation.
2. As a result of the
competition, trophies will be awarded to the top 3 male and top 3 female
athletes in the general classification in women and men.
3. Plaques will be
awarded to the top three male and female athletes according to the age group
classification results.
4. According to the
results of the general classification of the Half Marathon competition, the
cash prizes in the following amounts will be given by the organisation to the
first 6th ranked male athletes and the first 6th ranked female athletes.
5. The athletes
ranking in the first five places according to the age group classification will
receive cash prizes in the amount determined by the organisation.
6. Athletes cannot
benefit from both prizes even if they are ranked in the general classification
and age group classification to receive cash prizes. They can only receive
whichever prize is more.
7. An athlete can
apply in only one category. If he/she ranks in the category he/she applied for,
he/she can receive his/her award.
8. Athletes who are
entitled to receive cash, trophies and medals according to the results of the
competition must be present at the award ceremony. They will present their ID
cards during the delivery of the cash prizes.
The chief referee of the
competition is responsible for all matters related to the management of the
competition, and the organisers of the organisation are responsible for other
matters. Detailed information can be obtained from the officials whose names are
written below.
